We live in a world full of possibilities and diversity, but it is difficult to navigate the complexity of choice. In this article, I share my personal experience, hoping to shed light on some often overlooked aspects. Correcting bad results is difficult and expensive, and sometimes even almost impossible, but preventing negative consequences is much easier.
I will illustrate this with a specific example: – the feasibility of buying a paragliding trike. Some may dismiss this as a waste of money. However, I believe that after reading this article, you will reconsider your opinion, or at least think about it.
Nineteen years ago, I was completely healthy when I started paragliding with a motor. However, after four years, I began to have problems: back and knee pain. Doctors forbade me to continue flying with a motor on my back, citing rapid wear of my skeleton.
The intervertebral discs in our spine act as shock absorbers. The significant weight on your back during takeoff and landing leads to significant wear, displacement and microtrauma of these discs. As a result, they lose their flexibility, which worsens their ability to absorb shock. This can lead to various conditions, including intervertebral hernias, protrusions and spinal stiffness.
I could not give up my hobby, as I really love paragliding with a motor. I thought for a long time about how to do the right thing. And the result of my thoughts: – a trike! From that moment on, I began to think about designing a paramotor trike for myself. The trike significantly softens takeoffs and landings, relieves the load on the back and legs, and smooth contact with the ground is easily controlled by throttle control.
Don’t leave your health to chance. You have the opportunity to protect it. A paragliding tricycle can become a valuable tool for maintaining your health and well-being, allowing you to continue to enjoy this activity without physical risks for many years.
